Fifty-two
ladies participated in the CTLG June event at Stonetree Golf Course (Killeen,
TX) hosted by Killeen Ladies Golf Association.
The recent
wet weather had cleared up for the day of the event and it was a beautiful day
for golf.
Most
importantly, it was good to see many familiar faces as well as new friends who
easily forgive you for not remembering their names or when or where the last
time was you played in the same group.
Some come
with predicable (expectation of winning) outcomes, some come for the
socializing and some come for fun golf. Regardless of one's reason to
come CTLG event, in the end we are all winners because we are as happy as kids
on a playground when we are on the golf course with flat stick. And the
nice lunch adds an exclamation mark!
On behalf of
the KLGA, thank you all for visiting our home, Stonetree Golf Course.
The next
event will be at the Lago Vista on July 2nd.
