Lago Vista ( Lake View )

On July 2^nd Central Texas Ladies Golf monthly tournament was held at Lago Vista Golf Club in Lago Vista, Texas.

I’ve dread of going to Lago Vista every year but I kept returning every year. “It’s too far,” “too hot,” “too hilly” and “too difficult of a course” are just a few of the too many unacceptable excuses. Once again, I tried to convince myself why I shouldn’t go to Lago Vista this year.

However, I must confess, this year I really enjoyed played at Lago Vista. Nothing changed, noticeably, as far as the course is concerned. The course, the grill and the small details seemed the same as last year and the year before, as far as I can remember. Everything looked the same.

But this year I had a much different day than I had expected. The only thing that changed, and by far the most important, was my attitude. I took the time to enjoy the beautiful view from each hole; some of them were breathtaking! My appreciation of the surrounding nature made all the difference. I enjoyed every little thing I encountered on that day. Spending a day with friends and having fun always puts an exclamation mark at the end.

You can’t change the world, but you can change how you view the world and everything can look different.
