Today is the CTLG May tournament at the Stonetree Golf
Club. Yeah! At my home course.
The tee time was 8:30 shot gun start. I should be on third hole by now.
Today’s tournament was canceled because we are expecting the strong
north wind, up to 35-40 miles, combine with low temperature.
Instate I am at home posting this blog. What a bum.
On the March 7th 2013, the Central Texas Ladies
Golf (CTLG) season opening tournament was held at the Hidden Falls golf course.
The CTLG is a group of ladies from nine different golf
courses in Central Texas meet every first Thursday of the month for the
tournament at the different course each time.
Although some participants are very serious with tournament, the prize
is very humble amount. So some of us,
like myself, it is all about having fun and sharing a good friendship.
At the first season open tournament eighty-two players were
there.
And from the Killeen Ladies Golf Assoc. (KLGA) nineteen
ladies played at the Hidden Falls. The
KLGA had the largest group (25%) representation and also had a good number of
players won that day.
The three ladies I play with in my group were very nice and
my lunch was especially testing.
Good food, good company and round of golf on fabulous golf
course. What can be better than that?
